The Story of Roses

Original cultivation of European roses predates Christ, beginning with Rosa gallica, the “apothecary’s rose”. Over centuries, roses evolved through Damasks, Albas, Centifolias, China roses, Hybrid Teas, Floribundas, Grandifloras, Shrubs, and Miniatures.
